Odd Rabbit Play is an independent comparison desk for UK-licensed casino operators. We are a small editorial team. We are not part of any operator, we are not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, we are not a regulator, we are not a payments provider, and we are not a treatment service. The site reads operators and writes up what we find. That is the entire job.

How the site pays for itself

When a reader signs up at an operator through a link on this site, we may receive a one-off affiliate commission from that operator’s marketing programme. No operator pays us for placement, no operator sees the copy before it goes live, and the match-score rubric on the homepage is the same rubric whether the operator has an affiliate programme or not. The full version of that arrangement lives on the affiliate disclosure page.

What we deliberately do not cover

A working comparison has to know what it is leaving out. We do not score payment methods, deposit channels, withdrawal speeds, KYC processing times or anything else that touches money handling. That is the operator’s relationship with the customer and the bank, and a comparison site getting in the middle of it tends to be unhelpful in both directions — the figures go out of date within weeks and the wording starts shading into financial advice it has no business giving.

We also do not chase sign-up bonuses for their own sake. Headline figures appear on the site as structured facts rather than marketing — “100% up to £100” tells you the shape of the offer, not whether you should take it. The bonus terms and the wagering line matter more than the headline, and the operator’s own page is always the authoritative source.

The editorial spine

Every edition is built around UK licensing and player protection. That is the lens. If an operator looks impressive on slots and live tables but the licensing footprint is thin — Maltese parent fronting a UK-licensed brand, recent enforcement on file, GAMSTOP wired in as opt-in rather than default — it drops out of the shortlist regardless of how the rest of the product reads. The weighting is the same for every operator and the methodology section on the homepage spells it out field by field.

Who writes this

The site is written by people who have worked on regulated UK gambling products in adjacent roles — compliance reviewing, customer-experience research and player-protection tooling. We do not name individual writers on the byline because the work is rubric-driven rather than personality-driven, and any reader correspondence comes back signed by the editor of the relevant edition. The contact page reaches that inbox.

Company behind the site

Odd Rabbit Play is published by ARIGEO LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14845144) with its registered office at 26 Great Bounds Drive, Tunbridge Wells, England, TN4 0TR. Reader correspondence reaches the editor at help@oddrabbitplay.com.

What we cannot help with

We do not have access to any operator’s back office, cannot recover an account, cannot accelerate a withdrawal, cannot reverse a self-exclusion, and cannot intervene in a complaint. Account questions go to the operator’s support desk. Regulatory complaints go to the operator first and then to IBAS if unresolved. Treatment and confidential support go to GamCare on 0808 8020 133.
